Welcome to this distinguished panel discussion, a pivotal segment of the U.S. Mayoral Roundtable convened at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2023 in Barcelona, Spain. This session bears the title "Building Our Future Cities Together." Today's discourse is dedicated to exploring the pivotal role of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies in augmenting public safety, and connectivity within cities. From the application of AI-driven public safety initiatives to the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) in transportation systems, the urban governance landscape is undergoing a profound transformation.

The US Roundtable attended the 5th Edition of Expo I Conference, where city leaders from across Latin America converged to explore the frontiers of intelligent infrastructure and international collaborations. Supported by the United States Mayoral Roundtable in partnership with the Capital Mayors of Colombia and ANAP, this event was a catalyst for transformative insights.

Our U.S. Mayoral Roundtable session, featuring distinguished mayors, elevated discussions on vital topics like climate, safety, broadband, and new revenue opportunities. With over 2500 delegates and 40+ mayors from Colombia in attendance, Expo I was the epicenter of innovation for smart cities. The United States Mayoral Roundtable remains committed to fostering collaboration, propelling our communities forward.
